VTCT Level 2 Provide Waxing Services
VTCT Waxing is a single unit recognised as an international qualification. There is a combination of theory and practical skills taught over 3 days. Students will learn how to use hot and warm wax methods on various parts of the body and face.
The course will also cover Health and Safety, anatomy, contra-indications, home and after-care advice.

Assessment
Assessment will take place on real clients in a salon environment. There will be a gap between learning and assessment so students are able to practice their skills at home before being assessed. Assessment will also be completed through written work, test papers and oral questioning.
Students will be assessed working on clients on the following areas: Underarms, bikini, legs, eyebrows, lip and chin and will be expected to practice their skill on each other.
Progression
On completion, this qualification can be used within the Beauty industry in a salon or as a mobile therapist.
