VTCT Level 2 Provide Pedicure Services
VTCT Pedicure is a single unit recognised as an international qualification. There is a combination of theory and practical skills taught over 2 days. Students will learn how to complete a professional pedicure including foot and leg massage and be taught to use different finishes, including French polish. This unit also includes specialised treatments such as exfoliants, masks, paraffin wax and hot booties.
The course will also cover Health and Safety, anatomy,
contra-indications. Nail diseases and irregularities, home and
after-care advice.

Assessment
Assessment will take place on real clients in a salon environment. There is usually a gap between learning and assessment so students are able to practice their skills at home before being assessed. Assessment will also be completed through written work, test papers
and oral questioning.
Progression
On completion, this qualification can be used within the Beauty industry. Ideal for someone who wishes to continue with gel nails or do bridal work.
