VTCT Level 2 Provide Make Up Service
VTCT make up can be offered as single unit. The course will provide you with an internationally recognised qualification, therefore allowing you to obtain insurance to carry out this treatment professionally. A combination of theory and practical work on
clients and other students, this course will also cover Health and Safety, anatomy, contra indications and after/home care.
Practically this course covers the application of make up for 3 different occasions: day, evening and special occasions and includes correction techniques. Also covered is an introduction to skin care and cleansing.

Assessment
During the course you will have written work, test papers and oral questions. Assessment will take place on real clients to enable you to cover the ranges required by VTCT. You will need a range of clients at home to enable you to practice your skills.
Progression
On completion of the make up unit you will be qualified to treat clients in salons, health
clubs and as a mobile therapist. Ideal for someone who wants to work within the bridal
world.
